Kauri Grove is a fabulous garden setting absolutely perfect for your special day.
It is 8 years since we opened our garden for wedding ceremonies and wedding photo shoots and in that time we have had so many beautiful weddings.
There are several areas that can be used for your ceremony depending on the number of guests attending. Whether you are having a small intimate wedding or you need a larger space for more guests, we can accommodate all and any requirement and there are lots of grassed areas for children to enjoy.
Our garden has been open for the Garden & Art Festival for 4 years now and the comments we have received have been most humbling as words such as “outstanding paradise”, “a private hidden treasure in Tauranga” have been used time and time again.
So do visit our website as the photos on the site will give you a better idea of the lovely mature trees that provide plenty of shade on the hottest of summer days. If your guests wish, they can walk around the 5-acre garden with all its intriguing areas and secret spots before or after the ceremony and for those who are keen, petanque is available. It is like taking your guests on a fascinating garden ramble; they will love it.
There is also plenty of parking on the property for guests’ cars plus any number of bridal cars can easily be accommodated and showcased as well.
 Options available for brides include tulle and roses over an archway, and 4 silk rose topiaries linked with tulle. We provide a lovely white wrought iron table with chairs for signing the registry and tables with white cloths from which we serve your guest refreshments whilst your photos are being taken.
We have had couples cut their cake while they are here and if this is your choice, we are only too happy to slice, platter and offer your guests a piece of your cake.
There is a large fridge available for storage so food and refreshments can be brought out the day before and stored safely.
Our $500 fee includes any amount of site visits and rehearsals you need to plan your most important day.
